Location, Location, Location

The aquarium, one of Europe’s largest, is located on the South bank of the Thames, just over the Westminster Bridge from Big Ben and the House of Parliament. This historical setting creates a unique environment in which to view and experience the aquarium’s 400 species, which are housed in 50 display tanks holding more than 50,000 gallons of water.

Multi-Sensory Experience

Combining education, relaxation and entertainment through a multi-sensory voyage of discovery through the rivers, lakes and oceans of the world, the aquarium allows visitors to come face-to-face with sharks, lionfish, moray eels and clownfish, watch piranhas at feeding time and stroke spotted rays.

Conservation & Education

The aquarium commits itself many projects in support of the conservation, protection, maintenance and rehabilitation of the natural world. They support research and conservation initiatives and create partnerships with conservation organizations. The aquarium hosts daily talks at area schools.
