Native range:

Habitat: Found in weedy, current-filled streams and rivers. Adapts well to planted aquariums having tall vegetation restricted to the back and end walls, with plenty of room to swim in the center.

Maximum length: 11.5 cm (5 in)

Minimum aquarium size: 76 L (20 gal)

Water: Freshwater 24 °C (297 K, 75 °F) - 28 °C (301 K, 82 °F)

General swimming level: Midwater to top.
