Overview

Fascinating surface dwellers that typically inhabit mangrove swamps with brackishwaters. Their marksmanship shooting streams of water to knock down insect prey is legendary.

Archerfishes need special accommodations and feeding of live insects and other floating foods to thrive. They usually fail when added to conventional community tanks.
