From Microcosm Aquarium Explorer
The Aquarium is nestled between Constitution and Pennsylvania Avenues in downtown Washington, D.C., just a block away from the Washington Monument and close to a Metro stop.
Many different exhibits showcase local and far-flung marine destinations, from the nearby Chesapeake Bay to tropical coral reefs.
Fun for Kids
Kids especially will like the daily animal keeper talks and feedings. Children’s programming includes day-long workshops about sharks, reptiles and frogs. Check the website for more information and scheduling.
