[edit] Travel the World

Walk through a tunnel to feel surrounded by marine reef life. Visit exhibits focused on regional species from Palau to Fiji to Sri Lanka and Japan.

[edit] The Orinoco Rainforest

One display recreates the Orinoco River basin of South America, complete with howler monkeys, olive trees, toco toucans and red-rumped agoutis. Mundo Maya is another Latin American exhibit that features basilisks, tree frogs, Fer-de-lance snakes and Mexican beaded lizards.

[edit] South Africa

Travel to South Africa in this exhibit and listen to black-footed penguins bray next to hyraxes and aloe trees.

[edit] Conservation

The Aquarium funds a number of conservation initiatives, from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife cooperative breeding program to a turtle foster program. They also donate to causes that help conserve seahorses and wildlife of the Orinoco River.
