This family includes a number of droll looking, colorful species that are highly popular among marine aquarists. They are bottomdwellers that feed on tiny benthic invertebrates.

Captive care: Dragonets do best in well-established reef aquaria with thriving populations of microfauna living on and within the live rock and substrate.
Feeding: Carnivores. They have tiny mouths, suited to hunting very small live crustaceans, and they can be challenging to feed in the aquarium.
