Asian Bumblebee Catfish, a favorite among catfish fanciers. Aaron Norman
[edit] Overview
Catfish fanciers love some members of this family, which includes many smaller species, as well as some behemoths best left to the gamefishermen.
A characteristic of the Bagridae is four pairs of barbels on the snout. (The South American Pimelodidae with their long whiskers have just three.)
