Aquatic Gallery opened its doors on January 4, 2003. Since then, they've tried to establish themselves not only as an educational source for the hobbyist community, but also for the community at large. Aquatic Gallery owner, Dr. Le, has been a saltwater aquarium hobbyist for more than 20 years and he is often invited to speak to school groups and marine societies.
Each Monday, Aquatic Gallery hosts a field trip at the store for local school children. They get to see the various reef tanks, and even get to hold some of the invertebrate occupants. Dr. Le gives them age-appropriate lessons about ecosystems. The goal is to encourage an early interest in life systems and reef preservation.
He personally trains each of his staff members to ensure that they help customers select fish that are appropriate for their experience level and tank set up.
