Microcosm Aquarium Explorer welcomes profiles of aquarium systems for publication.

[edit] General Guidelines

  • Send a selection of at least 10 digital images in JPEG format (no larger than 800 pixels wide at 72 dpi). Show overview of the aquarium, all equipment and special features, details of aquascaping, and livestock.
  • Provide a caption list, explaining what each image illustrates.
  • Describe the planning of the system and any challenges or problems encountered. Include detailed list of equipment, fishes and invertebrates.
  • Include highlights of the system, successes, comments from people who have viewed the aquarium.
  • Please include:
    • Your Name
    • Mailing Address
    • Phone Number

[All personal information is for checking purposes only. Only the name of aquarium owner/designer and the city/town where the tank is located will be published.]

By submitting their images and words, Authors of Aquarium Profiles are agreeing to provide Microcosm Aquarium Explorer with the non-exclusive, perpetual right to publish the text and images on its web site or its affiliated sites.

All submissions will be eligible for monthly and annual prizes, ranging from calendars, books, and equipment. The grand prize winner each year will receive Microcosm Aquarium Explorer's Aquarium of the Year Trophy.

IMPORTANT: If either images or text is not yours, please include details so that the originators can be properly credited. Do not submit photographs or text without the written permission of the photographer or author.
