[edit] Journey Down the Río Grande

The Aquarium takes you on a guided river trip from Albuquerque to the Río Grande’s mouth at the Gulf of Mexico. The exhibit is divided into river zones; each zone is home to a different ecosystem and set of aquatic life. The zones include coral reefs, shallow waters, open ocean, estuarine and deep ocean. Animal highlights include an eel tunnel, shark tank and jellyfish tank.
