20-Gallon Peaceful Aquarium—”Mixed”
From Microcosm Aquarium Explorer
[edit] A Model Marine Aquarium
This aquarium is for the non-purist who doesn’t mind mixing species from different oceans.
The Tailspot Blenny loves to back into small holes in the live rock, while the cardinalfishes need a crevice or cave in which to take refuge if startled.
The Royal Gramma is the odd-fish-out—a resident of the tropical Atlantic and Caribbean, while the others are from the Pacific—but it is colorful and ideal for smaller tanks.
A pair of cleaner shrimp—either from the Caribbean or Pacific (but not both)—would be nice invertebrate addition to this community.
- 2 Yellowstriped Cardinalfish Apogon cyanosoma
- 1 Tailspot Blenny Ecsenius stigmatura
- 1 Royal Gramma Gramma loreto
- 2 Banded Coral Shrimp Stenopus hispidus
