180-Gallon “Mixed” Aquarium—Red Sea
From Microcosm Aquarium Explorer
[edit] A Model Marine Aquarium
Here is a dream fish community from the Red Sea.
It includes two dottybacks that are endemic to this area. The shoal of chromis will provide plenty of motion to this active aquarium.
The Lyretail Anthias tends to be a more aggressive species—it is imperative that you include just one or else a single male and group of females. There is also a trio of fairy wrasses (keep only one male with a couple of females).
With all three of these species, all individuals in the group should be added simultaneously. Be sure the aquascape has a profusion of hiding places, caves and rocky grottoes and canyons.
