12-Gallon Nano-Reef Aquarium—Caribbean
From Microcosm Aquarium Explorer
[edit] A Model Marine Aquarium
Here is a fascinating, compatible group of fishes found from South Florida through the islands of the Caribbean.
The industrious jawfish will require a 4-inch deep sand bed, with sand and shells of varying grades to assist burrowing. The Royal Gramma needs a suitable rocky hole to shelter in, as will the Neon Goby.
It is likely you will be able to watch the goby clean its tankmates.
- 1 Neon Goby Elacatinus oceanops
- 1 Yellowhead Jawfish Opistognathus aurifrons
- 1 Royal Gramma Gramma loreto
