Here’s a tank designed with mild-mannered tankmates and pair of beautiful dwarf cichlids that are likely to spawn. This same community would also fit nicely into a 15 or 20-gallon aquarium with addition of more peaceful midwater swimming tetras and two additional female cichlids to form a harem.
